The construction business and its related industries not only devour finite
resources, but they are a major source of pollution. Quarrying and stone
cutting onsite causesdust to hang in the air and it literally chokes people.

Green construction practices can offset environmental impact.

For instance, instead of marble and granite, we use FS-certified wooden
flooring, or traditional Athangudi tiles. As far as possible, all construction
material is sourced locally, saving on transport (that generates greenhouse
gases) and supporting regional livelihoods.
